DTB Installs Solar Panels at their Head Office
11th July 2023 :DTB transitioned to renewable energy by installing solar panels at their head office, DTB Centre, in Nairobi.
By harnessing renewable energy sources like solar power, the Bank will significantly reduce their carbon footprint and decrease their dependence on fossil fuels. The solar panels are expected to reduce the Bank’s power consumption and greenhouse gas emissions by at least 20%.
This initiative was driven by DTB’s commitment to reduce its environmental impact and achieve a net zero status within its own operations by 2030. By transitioning to renewable energy sources, DTB is not only reducing their carbon footprint, but also demonstrating our commitment to a sustainable future.
