Debit Card
Pay, shop and withdraw cash directly from your DTB account with the DTB Mastercard Debit Card. Use your card for contactless payments, ATM withdrawals and secure online purchases locally and internationally, with chip-and-PIN and 3D Secure protection for eligible transactions.
Overview
The DTB Mastercard Debit Card gives you convenient access to money already available in your DTB savings or current account. Use it to pay at merchant outlets, tap at contactless-enabled terminals, withdraw cash from ATMs and make eligible online purchases locally or internationally.
Unlike a credit card, a debit card uses funds from your linked bank account rather than a separate credit limit, helping you pay from money you already have. DTB adds chip-and-PIN technology for physical card security and 3D Secure for supported online transactions.
The card is denominated in Kenya Shillings and is accepted through Mastercard-enabled payment channels, subject to merchant acceptance, account balance, card limits and applicable foreign-exchange or transaction charges.
