On 28th April 2020, DTB committed Kshs.100 million towards cushioning Kenyans against the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, where Kshs.50 million was directed to the National COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund.

The other Kshs.50 million has been directed towards initiatives to support vulnerable Kenyans affected by the pandemic. DTB, through various partners, has been able to identify the most vulnerable members of society and launched interventions across the country to provide relief against the effects of the pandemic.
